Call For Papers: Meeting of The Canadian Section of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (CS-IVR), University of New Brunswick, Fredericton

The following theme is suggested: “Law, Science, Technology”. Other work in progress is welcome.

Dates:

Due by Friday March 4, 2011: Commitment to send a principal paper or commentary. To help with organizing, please send nbrett@dal.ca a note indicating that you intend to present a principal paper or commentary. Brief (150 word) abstracts of principal papers would also be appreciated. A reminder will be sent in February.

Due by Friday, April 29: Principal papers.

Due by Friday, May 22: Commentaries.

Meeting on Sunday, May 29th

Principal Papers (4,000 to 10,000 words) and commentaries should be sent to the CVS IVR Webmaster David Elliot elliotda@uregina.ca), with a copy to nbrett@dal.ca. Both papers and commentaries will be circulated via the website prior to the meeting. Participants and commentators briefly summarize their papers to open discussions at the meeting.
