Information on the activities of the Canadian Section of the International Association for the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy

The Canadian Section of the IVR Meets as an affiliate of the CPA at The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Friday May 31, 2019.

The Canadian Section of the IVR (International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy) accepts papers devoted to subjects in law and legal theory and moral and political philosophy. Submitted papers (and commentaries on them) are circulated (password protected) via the IVR Website (http://phil.uregina.ca/cs-ivr) and the authors and commentators briefly summarize their points to open discussions at the meeting. See http://phil.uregina.ca/cs-ivr/about.html for further information about CS:IVR meetings.

The theme for this year’s meeting is the same as that of the International Association, which meets in Lucerne, Switzerland (July 7-13): Dignity, Democracy, Diversity. However, papers on other subjects in moral, legal, and political philosophy are also welcome.
